What type of home do I have?

For battery unit only or battery storage + inverter installations, house construction details are important for quoting purposes. Installation methods may vary slightly for different types of homes.

For solar installations, roof construction material, roof height, and roof pitch (angle) also have an effect on the method of installation.

How much battery storage do I need?

The size of the battery storage required will depend on your home's total power usage and how you use your power.  LG Chem Residential Energy Storage Unit (RESU) options of 3.3kWh, 6.5kWh, and 10kWh, and the flexibility to scale up to 20kWh combinations, means every household in Australia can install solar storage to meet their needs.  The amount of solar you already have or are planning to install will influence your decision on battery capacity.  A rule of thumb is that for every 1kWh of solar on your roof you will need 1kWh of battery storage. I don't have solar.  How much solar do I need?
